Future Quake Intercessory Prayer Event Outside 2011 National Religious Broadcaster's Convention

On February 26, 2011 Doctor Future and Tom led some local friends and Futurians, and fellow Christians around the world, into a formal prayer interceding for America's Christian media and other national leadership, outside the Opryland Hotel in Nashville, TN, who were convening inside the hotel at the National Religious Broadcaster's Convention. The prayer asked for protection, blessing and for discernment for America's Christian leadership, and that they might be aware of, and burdened by issues that to date they have not addressed. The hosts were joined in unity on site by eleven Futurist friends (with two from Louisville, KY), with all of them referred to hereafter in history as the "NRB Thirteen".

While the "Thirteen" were reciting the prayer live on the premises of the National Religious Broadcaster's Convention, the prayer was similcast live on the "Tim and Mike Show", in a special edition of their show on Talkshoe.com. Through their show, listeners from Africa, India, Australia, and all the continents around the world joined in on the live prayer event! While they did not mention our NRB prayer event directly, the local Nashville newspaper, "The Tennessean", briefly quoted Doctor Future and mentioned Future Quake in their article on the NRB event. Futurians Melissa and Myron came to show their support (here with Tom).		The "Dynamic Duo" fresh off the road from Louisville, KY - the inimitable Robert Heid, joined by the enigmatic Ben Carmack!


The icon of independent Christian media, Chris White of the "Nowhere to Run" show on the Revelations Radio Network, and numerous other ministries, came to our aid to keep the whole show running.		Our new friend and Futurian Ryan (who found us via WENO!) took most of the pictures you see here (and all of the good ones).


Long time Futurian Adam did his "tour of duty" reading a portion of the prayer!		Futurians Kathryn and Mike continued their sustained encouragement of Doc and Tom and their ministry, by being here for us.


Myron, Chris and Melissa show the tremendous stress they endured before the start of the event! Satan quivers in his boots when he sees all of us!		Doc preps the arriving members of the "NRB Thirteen" as they come on site (it looks like they are looking up, pledging their allegiance to the Future Quake flag!)


Doc follows along with the prayer document, as one of the gang takes their turn reading it live for the universe (and God, specifically) to hear.		Tom Bionic takes his turn reading a portion of the prayer, while "Nowhere to Run" host Chris White follows along and holds the phone for the "Mike and Tim" show audio feed.

Show favorite Robert Heid takes a stint at reading the prayer, while Tom, Chris and Doc help with the audio and video.		New friend Ben Carmack (writer seen at Heid's "Sycamore Three" blog) reads his assigned section of the prayer.

One of those handsome men is reading the prayer at this time - or just looking for their place!		The prayer continues, with the "Quake" flag flying over the proceedings.


Robert Heid adds some eclectic distinction to this group - he secured a number of additional admirers this day!		Doc "rounds third base, heading for home" as he concludes the prayer.


Doc holds up our audio feed (via phone) to the "Tim and Mike Show", as they tell us about the large worldwide participation on their boards for this event, and the spirit of God they felt moving during the prayer!		Futurian Bob (foreground) was able to avoid the camera, but here he is as we fellowship afterwards and "break bread" at Shoneys!

Doc addresses some NRB convention attendees who came over to see what crazy thing we were doing! They were mesmerized (like seeing a car wreck on the road, I surmise...)		We conclude with the visionary visage of our dear Tom, shining brightly as he sees the future of our work before us!
